We are seeking a skilled and visionary Enterprise Architect (EA) four our client, to play a pivotal role in aligning thier business strategy with cutting-edge technical solutions. As an EA, you will work at multiple levels within the organisation, ensuring thier technology infrastructure supports key business goals such as driving revenue, optimizing costs, and reducing risks.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in emerging technologies to guide the transformation and optimization of the business and operating models. Your primary objective will be to plan, design, innovate, and bring to life a fully digital enterprise. By collaborating closely with business leaders, you will help enable the future-state capabilities of the organisation and ensure strategic initiatives are aligned to meet targeted business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities of the Enterprise Architect:

  • Lead and manage the Architecture Project Team: Oversee key areas including Data, Solutions, Security, and Infrastructure.
  • Ownership and accountability: Drive the design, governance, implementation, and adoption of technology architecture within the RENEW Transformation Programme.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Align internal and external stakeholders, ensuring best practices that are scalable, secure, and future-proof.
  • Cross-functional teamwork: Work closely with colleagues across various entities and locations within the group to optimize system benefits, ensure consistency, and drive synergies for enhanced customer outcomes.
  • Architecture Practice Leadership: Oversee and coordinate the architecture function across the enterprise, acting as an internal consultant to integrate architecture processes with business and IT strategies.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Business Architecture: Guide organisational changes in processes, structures, and people.
  • Information Architecture: Ensure seamless sharing of data across the organization.
  • Solution Architecture: Develop strategic direction for the future solutions portfolio.
  • Technical Architecture: Evolve and optimise the technical infrastructure.
  • Security Architecture: Manage IT risks and facilitate secure data exchanges.

Key Competencies required of the Enterprise Architect:

  • Strong understanding of business and operating models, financial analysis, risk management, and budgeting.
  • Expertise in enterprise-level agile methodologies and frameworks.
  • In-depth knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable EA requirements.
  • Ability to estimate financial impacts, apply multiple solutions to business problems, and understand the functionality of new technologies quickly.
  • Comfortable balancing foundational EA work with innovative, agile approaches to ensure a unified and flexible architecture.
  • A consulting mindset, with the ability to act as an innovative leader driving the organization's digital transformation.

You will need to be able to travel near to Maidstone on average twice per week.
