I'm working on behalf of my client who are looking to hire a recent graduate to their small, friendly, and dedicated team of event professionals. This role will start off office based 5 days a week in the West Malling area and will after probation, the team offer a hybrid policy.

The Role:

This graduate position is a fantastic entry into event production. You'll be responsible for researching, creating, and managing conferences and webinars, with full support and training provided. No prior experience in conference production is necessary, making it an ideal opportunity to kickstart your career. Within weeks, you'll have the chance to oversee your first event, handling its success from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Researching, building, and managing innovative new conferences
  • Conducting research through various channels, including virtual meetings and publications
  • Writing copy to effectively market your event
  • Recruiting and developing relationships with industry speakers and key opinion leaders
  • Working with marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure event success
  • Attending and managing online or in-person conferences on the day

Requirements:

  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A commercial outlook and understanding of business
  • Strong research and analysis skills
  • Educated to degree level
  • No prior experience required
