Ocean Import Coordinator - Freight Forwarding

Main duties:

• Arranging all aspects of Ocean import shipment from collection, shipping, pre-alert, delivery and invoicing. • Liaising with customer to establish requirements, make sure they are met and takes corrective actions in case of deviations • Liaising with agents and suppliers to meet customer requirements for Ocean Import shipments. • Ensures documents are completed and updated in a timely and efficient manner and according to regulations and internal procedures. • Prepares, controls and distributes all required Import documents to counterparts (carrier, consignee, supplier, etc.) complying with regulations and internal procedures • Follows-up shipment status in the Import area; identifies incidents and ensures resolution of incidents • Invoice all shipment in a timely and accurate fashion. 

Required experience

• 2 years UK Ocean import experience in Freight Forwarding and live Mid Kent

• Good administrative skills • Good communication skills • Good time-management
