My client is looking to recruit an experienced and strategic Head of Mortgage Servicing to lead their mortgage servicing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mortgage servicing, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the mortgage servicing division, aligning with overall company goals.
  • Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of mortgage servicing, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing mortgage servicing team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all servicing activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices; manage risk effectively.
  • Customer Experience: Enhance the customer journey through improved servicing processes, addressing concerns, and ensuring timely responses.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
  • Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT to leverage technology solutions that improve servicing efficiency and enhance customer experience.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party service providers and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports for senior management on servicing performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in mortgage servicing or related financial services, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage servicing regulations, policies, and industry trends.
  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving performance targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with mortgage servicing software and technology solutions.
