Business Operations Support & Receptionist

Part time opportunity to work within a prestigious internal company based in the Maidstone area. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Main Reception and provide administration support to all functions within the business.

Working week:

  • Job type: Part Time
  • Schedule: Week on Week off same shift pattern on repeat.
  • (Thursday thru Wednesday) No weekend working
  • Hours: 8.45am - 5.15pm

Main responsibilities:

  • Operate the telephones and maintain a quick response rate
  • Be first point of contact regarding the senior staff, organising training schedules, book and negotiate hotel bookings and provide training information.
  • Ensure compliance according to policy and running security checks
  • In charge of the incoming mail, distributing incoming mail to the correct recipient, preparation of outgoing mail, use of couriers and arrange transportation of mail as and when necessary.
  • Arrange travel, book taxis and local accommodation (for outside visitors)
  • Order and maintain relevant stationary supplies for effectiveness of the office
  • Support Facility Management team
  • Organise office working lunches and refreshments
  • Scanning of documents
  • Compiling Training Manuals
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, manager and customers
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned and for other departments as needed

This position is a fully office-based role, so candidates must be able to commute.
