Accounts Assistant

A diligent and methodical Accounts Assistant is needed to join a well-established accounting and finance team in Mid Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the accounts payable process.

Description

• Manage and maintain the accounts payable ledger.
• Assist with month-end closings and prepare related reports.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices and expenses.
• Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements.
• Work closely with the finance team to resolve any discrepancies.
• Support the wider accounting team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
• Maintain an organised filing system for financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting principles.

Profile

The successful candidate will:
