They are a smaller practice that are currently looking for an Accounts Senior for their Croydon office who enjoys problem-solving and thrives on building meaningful client relationships. In return, they are looking to pay up to £50,000, provide study support for qualifications and other benefits such as life insurance.
As an Accounts Senior, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and supportive team, providing high-quality accounting services to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to client service and business growth.
Accounts Senior Job Overview- Collaborate with clients to provide clear, practical financial advice.
- Prepare statutory accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns.
- Review and support the work of junior team members, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
- Build strong client relationships, offering strategic insights on tax planning and business growth.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Use accounting software and Microsoft Office to manage client accounts efficiently.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge to stay updated with industry changes.
- A part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA/AAT preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounting practice.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a passion for learning and growth.
- Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications).
- Holiday Package: 20 days + 8BH. Rising to up to 25 with service.
