An outstanding secondary SEND school in Bromley are currently looking to appoint a qualified Design and Technology teacher to join their school from January 2024 to August 2025.

The Role

This role is a full-time teaching position in the school’s Design and Technology department. You will be teaching design and technology classes across both KS3 and KS4 covering a broad curriculum including craft skills, use of tools, graphic communication, computer-aided design and mechanical systems.

You will support students to develop their design and production skills in wood, metal, CADD/CAM, electronics and advanced manufacturing including 3D printing and laser cutting. 

You will be responsible for all aspects of the teaching and learning, assessments and coursework towards examination. You will be joining an established team in the technology department with good support. Pupils will have a range of learning needs and lessons will be planned within the department to meet the needs of the students.

This ‘Outstanding’ special education needs school, located in Bromley, provides a supportive learning environment for secondary-aged students with moderate learning difficulties (MLD), all of whom have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
