REED Education is collaborating with schools across Southeast London, all committed to inclusivity and support, aiming to nurture every student to reach their full potential. We are currently seeking a passionate and empathetic ASD SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team immediately for one of our school in New Addington. 

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in both academic and social development.

• Collaborate closely with the class teacher to plan and implement tailored learning activities.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Provide individualised or small group support to students as required.

• Monitor and document student progress, offering feedback to both teachers and parents.

• Assist in classroom management and organisation.

• Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with children with ASD or other special educational needs.

• A patient, compassionate, and understanding approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively within a team.

• Relevant qualifications or training in special education are desirable but not essential.
