Nursery Room Leader

An independent day nursery in High Wycombe are currently recruiting for a Senior Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Room Leader.

The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 12 months Nursery Room Leader / Senior Early Years Practitioner experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the Early Years Foundation Stage and practices.

Nursery Room Leader - Position Details

Your role:

Supporting the nursery team to provide an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop

Promoting and ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment

Planning and delivering activities to extend and support childrens development and learning outcomes

Organising and overseeing team meetings

What you will need:

An NNEB, CACHE, EYT or an equivalent Early Years Practitioner / Teaching qualification

An understanding of the EYFS, planning and assessment procedures

An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures

Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
