We are working with an independent day nursery who are currently recruiting for a Nursery Manager for their nursery setting in High Wycombe.

The successful candidate will preferably have a minimum of 18 months nursery management experience, demonstrating a sound working knowledge of both the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted Standards.

Position Details

Your role:

• Overseeing the monitoring, planning, and development of the nursery setting
• Promoting and ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment
• Supporting and promoting equality and diversity throughout all areas of care and practice
• Supervising, supporting and reviewing staff development and performance
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery

You will ideally have:

• Early Years Degree or relevant childcare qualification such as CACHE, NVQ, NNEB or recognised
• A minimum 18 months nursery management experience
• A sound understanding of the Ofsted standards and requirements
• Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations

What the position offers:

• £40,000.00 - £45,000.00 per annum starting salary, negotiable
