Rocasa Consulting are looking for a Housing Support Worker to join a team in the High Wycombe area. This role is based in a homeless hostel for clients with a range of complex needs including mental health conditions, substance misuse, and trauma, some clients may also be homeless due to the fact they are refugees and asylum seekers.

This role is working Sunday - Thursday, 37.5 hours per week. The shift times are between 8am and 10pm - it will be a mix of earlies and lates.

Role Details:

- Create and adjust support plans for clients.
- Provide emotional support to clients.
- Work with multi disciplinary teams to ensure support being provided is effective.
- Build recovery plans with clients in a person centred way.
- Ensure safety of clients at all times through safeguarding and property checks.
- Assist clients with move on tasks such as applying for more permanent housing, benefits and finding employment.
- Ensure clients are aware of their welfare rights.

About you:

- Experience working with vulnerable adults within a similar type of environment.
- Good knowledge of benefits and the housing system.
- Reliable and punctual
- Hold an enhanced DBS check or willing to undertake one.
