Our well-established client located in Westbury; Wiltshire are looking for multiple Logistics operatives to join their team in the run up to their busy period (Christmas Peak).


Responsible for supporting the logistics and supply chain function through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely unload goods in a timely manner
  • Verify goods loaded for delivery against delivery notes
  • Ensure safe loading of vehicles
  • Maintain high quality and customer service standards
  • Identify workplace hazards and follow proper reporting procedures
  • Assist picking team with picking responsibilities when required

Person Specification:

  • Counterbalance forklift preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to take initiative
  • Strong communication skills with team members, managers, and other departments
  • Demonstrates respect and dignity towards colleagues
  • Positive attitude toward work and challenges
  • Level 2 Food Safety certification preferred
  • Proactive approach to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Health & Safety:

  • Lead by example, ensuring adherence to company Health & Safety procedures
  • Be aware of the location of first aid facilities and emergency procedures
  • Follow protocols for reporting safety concerns and accidents
  • Implement site-specific health and safety policies (e.g., SOS policy)
  • Ensure plant, machinery, and equipment in your area are safe to use, and report any issues to your line manager immediately
