About Our Client

Our client is an innovative technology company specialising in the design and manufacture of specialistinstrumentation for the oil and gas, geothermal, and transition energy sectors. They are leaders in developing novel sensor technologies, high-powered electro-mechanical devices, and high-pressure and temperature applications used in well monitoring and intervention.

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our client's team. This is an office-based role where you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of complex electronic and mechanical products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan production schedules to meet forecasts and customer demands
  • Source reliable suppliers and implement procurement strategies
  • Develop manufacturing processes for new products
  • Manage stock inventory of electronic and mechanical components
  • Determine and maintain quality control standards
  • Manage in-house technicians and subcontract resources

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of operational experience in an engineering environment
  • Production planning and resource management
  • Purchasing of complex machined parts and electronic components/assemblies
  • Engineering change management
  • Developing initiatives to improve business performance
  • Conformance to health and safety regulations
  • Experience with QMS such as ISO 9000

Skills & Qualifications:

  • HND or BEng in Engineering
  • Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
