Are you a childrens Support Worker looking for a rewarding role?

We are proud to be supporting one of clients in finding them experienced Support Workers to join their day and night teams.

The hours for days will be - with some flexibility needed = 7:00/7:30 - 22:00/22:30 for the 15 hour shift and then either 7:30 - 14:30 or 14:00 - 22:00 for the 10 hour shift

The hours for waking nights will be 4 on and 4 off = 21.00/21.30 and finish around 8.00.

The salaries will be between £28134 and £34888 depending on what shift you choose but you will also be reward with:

Your main priorities:

  • supporting children who've faced adversity, helping them learn, grow, and create positive pathways to adulthood.
  • providing guidance, stability, and support for young people
  • you'll take care of the home and the young people (through the night)
  • take care of tasks around the home such as paper work, cleaning and laundry
  • supporting with meals and general care

You will need:

  • ideally have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), but if you don't you will have the opportunity to obtain this - paid for!
  • to be a team player who helps others
  • to genuinely care about young people (and each other)
  • experience to be able to deal with challenging situations
  • a full UK driving licence
