About the Role:
A thriving primary school in Southend-on-Sea are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Early Years SEND and Inclusion Lead to join their dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide leadership and support across EYFS, ensuring that all children, regardless of their individual needs, have access to high-quality learning experiences. You will be at the forefront of creating an inclusive culture, leading initiatives that support children with SEND and making a meaningful difference in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop SEND provision within the EYFS, ensuring the needs of all children are met.
- Work closely with staff to support effective differentiation, inclusive practices, and tailored interventions for children with SEND.
- Collaborate with parents, external agencies, and professionals to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Support staff development through training and sharing best practices around SEND and inclusion.
- Monitor and track the progress of children with SEND, providing regular updates and reports.
- Champion the inclusion of all children, promoting a culture of respect, understanding, and diversity.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated educator with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a focus on early year's education.
- A sound understanding of SEND, early intervention, and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Experience in working with children with a range of special educational needs in an early years setting.
- A commitment to creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and families.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving and promoting children's success.
