They pride themselves on fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment where the team can thrive.Position Overview:They are seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant to join their growing team. This role involves a blend of client interaction, account preparation & review as well as supporting junior members of the team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting principles, possess strong interpersonal skills, and be committed to driving best practices in accounting.Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries and providing professional advice to ensure client satisfaction and resolution of accounting issues.
  • Accounts Preparation & Finalisation: Prepare and finalise accounts in a timely manner, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Junior Accountant Training: Mentor and train junior accountants, offering guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge in accounting practices.
  • Driving Best Practices: Promote and implement best practices in accounting operating standards to ensure the highest level of service and efficiency.
  • Review & Finalisation: Conduct thorough reviews of accounts and financial statements, ensuring all information is correct before finalising.
  • Client Reviews: Regularly review accounts with clients to provide insights, address any concerns, and ensure alignment with their financial goals.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within an Accountancy Practice.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with bookkeeping software and account preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
