- Maintain office & client cashbooks.
- Processing invoices, receipts, and payments
- Process debit/credit card payments.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end reporting and financial statements
- Supporting the preparation of VAT returns and other compliance tasks
- Handling client account transactions, ensuring compliance with SRA rules
- Communicate with clients, law firms, and businesses on financial matters.
- General administrative tasks related to finance
- Experience working in a similar accounts assistant or bookkeeping role
- Knowledge of legal accounting and SRA regulations (preferred but not essential)
- Strong IT skills, particularly in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to support other team members
- Integrity, discretion, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
