Do you have a passion for finance and a meticulous eye for detail? Looking for a part-time role within a friendly and relaxed law firm that offers hybrid working?

Harvey John are delighted to be working exclusively on a newly created position as Accounts Assistant / Legal Cashier with a friendly firm of solicitors near Sevenoaks. This role sits within their internal finance team with responsibility for the credit control function and accurate maintenance of: client ledgers, petty cash records, disbursements, the firm's internal bookkeeping, bank account reconciliations and more.

This part-time job will suit someone looking to work 3 or 4 days per week who has a passion and drive for delivering accuracy and compliance with SRA's Accounts Rules, Money Laundering Regulations and the Practice's internal procedures.

You will sit within an established finance team that offers a collaborative environment. Their beautifully modern offices are in a relatively rural setting on the outskirts of Sevenoaks - as such, the ability to drive will be essential in order to commute to their offices.

A salary of £30,000 - £35,000 (Full-time Equivalent) is available with 25 days annual leave + bank holidays. Hybrid working is available too.

For this job, you'll ideally have: a minimum of 2 years of finance experience within a legal environment, have experience in credit control, be comfortable liaising with people at all levels within an organisation, be accustomed to working to deadlines and uphold confidentiality and integrity at all times.
