This is a rare opening to join our Westerham based client, who are looking to hire an experienced Sales Administrator to support the busy sales team.

Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 (DOE)

Location: Westerham, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm/9am - 5pm (rota basis)

Benefits: Company pension, on-site parking, 20 days + bank holidays

Our client is looking for a dynamic and organised individual who will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth operations, and contributing to the growth of the business.

The role is varied, and you will need to be adaptable to the challenges of the day. Some of your daily tasks will include:

  • Answering sales line - new prospects / existing clients / surveyors
  • Surveyor queries and booking in their appointments
  • Intermediary between management and sales
  • Producing quotations on Word / PDF
  • Follow up calls / emails with client regarding sent outstanding quotations
  • Logging, booking, costing ad-hoc job work
  • Staying in regular contact with the surveyors to provide support and to update their dashboards (list of work)
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Variety of emails from the sales inbox
  • Proofing when required
  • Collecting payments for domestic job work and logging it on the system
  • Setting up new clients on the system
  • Tender management with Sales Managers
  • Producing PowerPoint presentations for Sales Management team

Skills & attributes required:

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Prior experience in sales administration is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Previous experience in sales administration
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Experience in customer service roles
  • Familiarity with IT tools relevant to sales administration
