The role involves managing a portfolio of customers, maintaining accurate records, and proactively chasing overdue invoices.
Candidates should have prior credit control experience, particularly with Sage 50 or Sage 200, and strong Excel skills.
The position emphasizes excellent customer service, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.

JRRL are looking for a Credit Controller to work in a friendly team with 3 other credit controllers within a wider accounts team in this well established company. Free parking available.

Job Description for the Credit Controller

Credit control for own portfolio of customers and assist where needed to support the team with the group targets
Set up and maintain accurate customer records
Proactively chase customers for overdue invoices and purchase orders
Upload invoices to various customer portals
Work with customers and build strong relationships
Set up repayment plans and process customer payments
Thinking outside the box to enable resolution of any issues in relation to invoice payments and to also consider any personal as well as business improvements
Working as part of a team

Person Specification for the Credit Controller

Sage 50 or Sage 200 experience
Excel knowledge essential
Extremely strong credit control abilities. Must have prior experience
Persistence and determination
To be thorough and pay attention to detail
Ability to listen and negotiate with customers
Ambition and desire to succeed
Organised and detail oriented
Excellent customer service skills and strong verbal as well as written communication abilities
