We have a fantastic opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join an aviation company based in the heart of Biggin Hill Airport . This is a temporary contract to cover long term sickness. Both the working environment and surround area are beautiful making it a great place to work.Â
The role will require you to work a shift basis of 3 days on and 3 days off . 11 hours Shifts . There are 3 start times . 6am , 9am, 12pm.
This is an urgent requirement so you must be available for an immediate start and will be subject to a basic DBS check due to the location of the role.Â
The role:Â
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for delivering the highest level of service to the clients and their luggage from the front door of the FBO terminal to on-board the aircraft ready for take-off, They would be coordinating with Flight Operations Team in Headquarters via phone or GTM system to work on the scheduled requests and follow up the concerned personnel (catering, ground services, etc.). They coordinate with the ramp team to ensure that the operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
ï‚· Safety of team and equipment/assets at all times.
ï‚· Line management of Operations and Guest Experience teams.
ï‚· Must display the highest level of customer service to all clients by maintaining pleasant, professional, friendly and outgoing attitude. ï‚· Ensuring a smooth operation by coordinating and overseeing all levels of the daily FBO operation.
ï‚· Wing walking to ensure safe services.
ï‚· Use GTM to update/view/assist handling requests, special requests and fuelling services.
ï‚· Coordinate with customer requests, questions, and needs to maintain continuous quality services.
 Monitoring of company standards within all teams and implementation of new changes in line with brand guidelines.
ï‚· Assist FBO Manager to support the business functions of the running of terminal to include but not limited to budgeting, contracts, customer feedback, supplier management and liaison with Headquarters as required.
ï‚· Operate office equipment to include but not limited to air-to-ground radios (base station), ground radios, GTM systems, computers and phones as required.
ï‚· Knowledge of all aspects of Jetex and operational functions as well as business aviation and London Biggin Hill Airport.
ï‚· Knowledge of Customer Service should include assisting customers with hotel reservations, ground transportation, catering, limo service, local attractions, activities and other functions that will be helpful to the clients.
In order to be successful for this position you must meet the following criteria:
- Have previous Aviation Experience
- Have supervisor/Management ExperienceÂ
- Be available immediatelyÂ
- Be able to commute to Biggin HillÂ
- Happy to have a DBS Check carried out on your behalf
