Role Overview

The poster holder will be responsible for accurately producing print work in line with job specifications.

Primary Objectives
  • Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department;
  • Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied;
  • QC to job requirements;
  • Maintain and process work according to the production schedule;
  • Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered;
  • Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department;
  • Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations;
  • Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy
  • Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes;
  • Experience with HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek is preferable but not essential;
  • Understanding Windows Operating systems
  • Operational experience with print;
  • Demonstrable attention to detail;
  • Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious;
  • Flexible and effective team member.
