Kitchen assistant job -Westerham

Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a new Kitechen assistant to work within our client's residential home in Westerham

Kitchen Assistant vacancy details:

• £11.44 per hour
• 36 - 40 hours per week available
• Day positions available
• Work alternate weekends

Kitchen assistant main duties:

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents.
• Follow dietary guidelines and specific requirements for individual residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure proper storage and labelling of food items.
• Help with food inventory and stock rotation to minimize waste.
• Adhere to all health and safety standards, including proper food handling, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Support the chef and other kitchen staff in various tasks as needed.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Provide courteous and friendly service to residents and staff.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
