As an Assistant Business Services Co-ordinator, you'll be involved in lots of different tasks as you support the day-to-day running of the office. This is a busy and varied job – no two days will be the same. You’ll have an important part to play in your team meeting its goals, so you’ll always be looking at how you can offer help where needed.Â
Your role will not involve weekend working however, you'll be required to work some Bank Holidays. You'll be working 30 hours a week, our preference would be for you to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, although there can be some flexibility to this.

What it's like to work hereYou'll be part of a small team based at Chartwell, liasing with all other departments on a daily basis. As part of your role you may, on an adhoc basis, be required to work at the two other sites within our portfolio, Emmetts Garden and Quebec House. This will give you an excellent insight into how all three of our properties operate as well as a great opportunity to form relationships with the wider portfolio team.
What you'll be doingAs the Assistant Business Services Co-ordinator for the Chartwell Portfolio, your focus will be on assisting to co-ordinate the many group bookings which we take by phone and e-mail each year and managing all aspects of their visit, from how many people are in their party to what their catering requirements may be. You will also support your Business Services colleagues in undertaking finance duties across our three sites, plus the many other administrative aspects of the role including producing invoices, financial reporting and ordering supplies.
You'll be helping to run a business service for the wider team that is efficient, proactive and flexible.
