We are seeking an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerk for a temporary position to manage a backlog and handle ongoing queries. This role is based in Westerham and requires a candidate who can drive due to the office location. It would be highly beneficial if you are familiar with either Sage 50 or Sage 200.
Day-to-day of the role:- Efficiently process and manage a backlog of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Handle accounts payable queries from suppliers and internal departments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve the accounts payable/purchase ledger process.
- Proven experience in an accounts payable/purchase ledger role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver’s license due to the office location.
