We are seeking an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger Clerk for a temporary position to manage a backlog and handle ongoing queries. This role is based in Westerham and requires a candidate who can drive due to the office location.  It would be highly beneficial if you are familiar with either Sage 50 or Sage 200.  

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Efficiently process and manage a backlog of invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Handle accounts payable queries from suppliers and internal departments.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve the accounts payable/purchase ledger process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an accounts payable/purchase ledger role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license due to the office location.
