Postal Delivery Workers will be responsible for sorting and collecting post and parcels for delivery, utilizing a hand-held device for routing and customer signatures.
Candidates should ideally have previous delivery or driving experience, but this is not mandatory, and a valid UK driving license is required.
The role involves physically demanding tasks, including walking at least 8 miles per day and delivering items both on foot and by driving.
Applicants should be prepared to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends, and must possess excellent time management and communication skills.

Shift Pattern – 14:00 – 21:00

You'll start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered
You'll be given a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries. The hand-held will also act as your routing system, telling you where to go to next
The role will be physically demanding, where you'll be walking at least 8 miles per day. You will also be required to carry a post bag, delivering letters and parcels
Driving and on foot delivery will be required, and you will be required to push/pull a post trolley during deliveries

Key Requirements:

MUST hold a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points. (a clean license is preferred)
Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not mandatory
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
Working outdoors in all weathers is required
Able to work 5 days out of 7 including potential day at the weekend
