Are you a Controls Engineer, PLC or DCS Programmer looking for an off the tools role programming bespoke distributed control systems for this Tier 1 OEM offering full autonomy, a 9 day fortnight and excellent benefits?

In this role you will be trained on the programming of this companies redundant automated safety systems used within the manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical and oil & gas industries. You will also have to travel to site and off-shore to commission the control systems, being paid overtime and off-shore rates. .

This role would suit a Controls Engineer, PLC Programmer or Service Engineer looking to step up into a hybrid, office-based role programming bespoke industrial automation equipment for a globally recognised industry leader.

The Role:

  • Programming distributed control systems used for industrial automation
  • Flexible hybrid working with up to 3 days at home per week
  • Travelling nationally and off-shore to sites to assist with commissioning of new equipment, up to once per month
  • Full training on their bespoke systems
  • Every other Friday off

The Person:

  • PLC Programmer, Controls Engineer or PLC Service Engineer looking to step up
  • Understanding of Functional Safety or IEC Standards
  • Willing to travel and work off-shore for up to 2 weeks a time.
