Project Engineer - Food Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer with an electrical focus to manage and deliver engineering projects on time and within budget. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is preferred, as the role involves automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure successful completion.

Project Engineer - Food Responsibilities:
Stakeholder & Contractor Management: Oversee governance, budgets, and external contractors.
Operational Support: Assist with maintenance coordination and act as LV Electrical Duty Holder.
Risk & Problem-Solving: Identify risks early, mitigate issues, and drive effective solutions.
Project Delivery: Manage engineering projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare key project documents, including budgets and schedules.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain health, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout projects.

Project Engineer - Food Required Attributes:
Certifications: 18th Edition Certification required; Project Management (Prince 2, APMP) and EHS (IOSH, NEBOSH) certifications are beneficial.
Industry Experience: Background in FMCG with experience delivering multiple CAPEX projects.
Project Execution: Manage projects, analyse scope and requirements, and drive process improvements.
Desirable Skills: Civil engineering knowledge and PLC troubleshooting are advantageous.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLC integration, and automation.
EHS & Contractor Management: Ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance and oversee contractor competency.
Education & Qualifications: HNC/HND or Engineering Degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
