This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with clients, managing audits from planning to completion, and mentoring junior team members within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading audits from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact during audits
- Reviewing work completed by junior team members and providing constructive feedback
- Preparing financial statements and audit reports
- Identifying and resolving technical issues in audit assignments
- Assisting with business development and advisory work as required
- ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist (or equivalent)
- Minimum of three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounting standards
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior staff
