You’ll be ACA or ACCA qualified with previous experience leading a significant audit portfolio, as well as demonstrable team management skills. You’ll have excellent communications skills, sound technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
With a strong commercial understanding, you’ll be motivated to scope new business opportunities through building a network of prospective clients, as well as scoping new service lines for your existing portfolio.

Job Purpose
- Lead the delivery of audit engagements to a portfolio of large, high value clients across a broad range of business sectors.
- Oversee junior staff, reviewing work and providing constructive mentorship.
- Work closely with the Audit Partner to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
- Support the firm’s business growth by maintaining relationships with key contacts and building a prospective network.
- Deliver strong technical knowledge and keep up to date with legislation and statutory requirements.
- Identify services that will add value to your portfolio of clients.
- Review internal processes and providing recommendations to improve efficiencies across the Audit function.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader.

The Successful Applicant
- ACA or ACCA qualified with experience managing audit clients
- Previous supervisory experience at a managerial level, with good people management skills
- Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated and reliable
- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
- Networking and relationship building skills
- First class organisational, multi-tasking and delegation skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to confidently seek new business opportunities.
