Are you a talented and experienced chef looking to lead a hardworking group of people in one of the South West’s popular seaside destinations? We are seeking a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager to take charge of our clients busy kitchens and deliver outstanding culinary experiences to their visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchens.
  • Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships, ensuring the use of local and fresh ingredients.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, and scheduling, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Manage kitchen budgets, control costs, and minimize waste.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen during peak times, especially weekends and holidays.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage and inspire a kitchen team.
  • Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy tourist seasons.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and costs.
  • A creative flair for menu development, understanding of dietary needs, and the ability to cater to various tastes.
