Job description:

We are recruiting for a Project Manager within the Small Works Division. This position will report to the Operations Manager and will manage and lead individual and multi-disciplined Commercial projects. Directly accountable for working with the internal team and third parties meeting projected delivery dates and to stay within budget on all projects and solutions.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in development of projects and programs that will establish quality objectives.
  • Manage teams through all phases of cycle development, including analysis, project design and development, testing periods, installation, and final delivery.
  • Interface directly with managers, employees, vendors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations.
  • Create a work plan that includes a schedule, milestones, control, and risk factors.
  • Identify complex risks
  • Manage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive information.
  • Enhance company and department reputation by accepting ownership, exploring new possibilities, and adding value to the organisation.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business strategies, goals, and missions
  • Attend site to complete surveys, inspections and project completion meetings

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential:

  • You must have proven experience within the commercial construction industry
  • Stakeholder management

Desirable:

  • Experience working with building regulations and building control
  • Knowledge and experience working with PBSA (Purpose Built Student Accommodation)
