We're working with a small but very successful family run business in Weston-super-Mare, that are looking for a Project Manager to join their team. They're offering a basic salary up to £35,000 per annum for the right person. Ideally, you will come from an Engineering or similar industry and have experience managing various projects, including budgets, scheduling and working to tight deadlines.
The role of Project Manager involves:
- Coordinating multiple projects working to tight deadlines and budgets.
- Planning and scheduling jobs, allocating resources efficiently.
- Sourcing, managing, and liaising with subcontractors, engineers, and suppliers.
- Monitoring project budgets and control costs to maximise profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Problem-solving and providing technical support to the team.
- Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
- Tracking project progress, generate reports, and communicate updates to management.
For the Project Manager, you need:
- A clear background in the Engineering industry - mechanical, electrical or similar.
- Good level of Project Management/Project Coordinator experience.
- Proven background in managing subcontractor and engineering relationships.
- Knowledge of the industry regulations and safety requirements.
