We are currently seeking a Band 6 Locum Dietitian to join our team in Weston-Super-Mare. This is a full-time role with an ASAP start and a minimum contract duration of 3 months. The ideal candidate must have recent acute hospital experience and be passionate about providing high-quality nutritional care to patients across a variety of clinical areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide dietetic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients within the acute hospital setting.
  • Implement a range of nutritional interventions, including enteral feeding.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.
  • Manage a caseload of patients across diverse clinical areas, providing expert dietary advice and support.
Essential Requirements:
  • Recent acute (hospital) dietetic experience across a range of clinical areas.
  • Proven ability to deliver nutritional interventions including enteral feeding.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
Desirable:
  • Experience in out-patient oncology would be advantageous, though not essential.
