Finance Business Partner: Hybrid, Salary Circa £75,000

On behalf of our client - a pioneering organisation committed exclusively to renewable energy - we are seeking a Qualified and Experienced Finance Business Partner to support their financial operations and contribute to their mission of accelerating the clean energy transition.

The Role:

As Finance Business Partner, you'll work closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge that drives informed decision-making and long-term value. You'll support key projects and investments across renewable initiatives such as solar, wind, and clean tech infrastructure.

This role combines hands-on analysis with strategic influence, making it ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, innovation, and purpose.

  • Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for key renewable energy programmes
  • Develop business cases, investment appraisals, and scenario modelling to support strategic initiatives
  • Provide high-quality reporting and insight to senior leadership, including Board-level presentations
  • Support commercial negotiations with partners and suppliers
  • Drive efficiencies, identify risks, and contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across finance, engineering, and sustainability teams

The Requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Experience in a Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Finance role
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills, with the ability to distil complex data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, including non-finance teams and execs
  • Excellent communicator with strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Experience within renewable energy, utilities, or infrastructure (desirable but not essential)
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment
