Our client, within the manufacturing industry, who started as a small family led company and have grown into a successful global provider of high-performance solutions are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis at their site in Weston-Super-Mare.

You will be a key member of the leadership team, be responsible for the site finance function, including strategy and budget reporting along with the management of the accounting team. The ideal candidate will bring energy to the role and get involved at a strategic level.

Responsibilities:

-Preparation and reporting of financial information on a weekly and monthly basis (including payroll)

-Manage the annual budgeting process and future strategic development of various group entities

-Input into the year end audit process and liaise with the company auditors

-Complete all regulatory reporting to statutory bodies

-Monitoring gross margins/contributions with focus on optimising sales mix

-Monitor working capital management, with focus on inventory, credit management, and cashflow

-Generate the necessary financial information that will highlight profit potential and/or inefficiencies.

-Focus on cost control and lean principles with target of improving site efficiency

-Support the business in relation to general development or specific issues

-Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures.

-Coordinate the development of the systems to support business growth

Hours - Monday - Thursday 8.30am -5pm &Friday 8.30am - 4pm
