Early Years Teaching Assistant (Part-time)

This diverse, two-form entry primary school in Weston-Super-Mare, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Teaching Assistant to support in an Early Years setting across Nursery and Reception classes. This part-time will start immediately and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent position should the school decide that the candidate is the right fit.

They have high standards, and achieve this through a creative and fun curriculum but also by providing an environment where children feel safe and happy. The school is incredibly diverse, with a large number of children speaking English as a second language.
RequirementsTo be considered for the role of EYFS Teaching Assistant you will:
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
- Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Salary£12.86-£15.00 per hour (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
- Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivilent
- Excellent daily rates paid weekly by our in-house Payroll team using the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system.
- Guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability and qualifying criteria).
