This role is fixed-term for 2 years.
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
Day to day duties of the role
- You will work towards Level 5 Learning and skills teacher standards developing your understanding of pedagogy of delivering Maths qualifications to a diverse group of students, including those with special educational needs.
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment against an agreed timetable.
- Develop learning resources that can be used within your teaching and to support learning beyond the classroom e.g., virtual learning environment.
- Develop formative and summative assessment opportunities that adhere to awarding body expectations.
- Support the development of study skills and revision techniques that enable learners to prepare for external assessment activity.
Required skills and qualifications
- Degree or professional qualification (level 4 and above).
- IT Literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage workload and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a passion for excellence.
