This role is fixed-term for 2 years.

This is a full time role, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties of the role

You will work towards Level 5 Learning and skills teacher standards developing your understanding of pedagogy of delivering Maths qualifications to a diverse group of students, including those with special educational needs.

  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment against an agreed timetable.
  • Develop learning resources that can be used within your teaching and to support learning beyond the classroom e.g., virtual learning environment.
  • Develop formative and summative assessment opportunities that adhere to awarding body expectations.
  • Support the development of study skills and revision techniques that enable learners to prepare for external assessment activity.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Degree or professional qualification (level 4 and above).
  • IT Literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage workload and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a passion for excellence
