We're seeking an experienced and results driven Production Manager to join our dynamic Client. As a key member of the management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation / manufacturing facilities.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality products, serving top-tier clients in the aerospace industry. They pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee development.

Responsibilities include:

  • Optimize production operations to meet sales demands while minimising costs and maximising asset utilisation
  • Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of customer orders
  • Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to increase asset utilisation and reduce downtime
  • Support the general management of the plant as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive business growth
  • Ensure a safe working environment for all site staff, with a strong focus on health and safety
  • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of operational performance metrics and ensure all site KPIs are up-to-date
  • Work closely with production planning, supply chain, commercial, and technical teams to ensure seamless communication and information flow
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance overall business performance
  • Manage the training, discipline, and appraisal processes for the Manufacturing team

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a production management or similar role
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations
  • Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs and increasing customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • IOSH or similar health and safety qualification
