The company in question are looking for a MechanicalMaintenance Engineer at their site in Essex.Job Role:To maintain, by servicing and repair, all machinery to maintain production and meet all.health and safety requirements. Proactively drive improvement and cost savings ofenergy and utilities whilst maintaining the ability to meet varying and increasing.demands from production.Typical Duties will involve:

  • Maintain maximum effectiveness and benefit from existing site equipment.
  • Assist with development of new manufacturing methods.
  • Work cross functionally to deliver a consistent and dynamic approach to continuous improvement.
  • To ensure all work is completed in compliance with safe working procedures.
  • Adherence of the PPM system, complete and on time

Desirable experience

  • Apprentice trained (minimum Level 3) with strong, hands-on Engineering skills.
  • PLC controls or electronics experience would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
  • Highly motivated and able to work on own initiative.
  • Manufacturing / Process experience with evidence of PPM delivery and control
  • Fault finding and diagnosis of breakdowns techniques.
  • Will be open to further personal development in line with the Company training plan.
  • Must be eligible to work in UK.
