I am delighted to be working with an international manufacturing business who are looking to hire an HR Business Partner for their Somerset site. Reporting into the Head of HR this role will be stand-alone supporting a headcount of 130.

This is a great time to join the organisation as they have gone through significant change and are looking to embed their culture, revolutionise HR and empower their people to contribute to overall business objectives. As the main point of contact for all HR advice and guidance, the position has broad HR generalist responsibilities covering HR operations as well as strategic HR.

You will form part of the management team and will have full accountability for all HR site decisions.

  • Being the first point of contact for all HR advice and guidance
  • End to end recruitment and onboarding
  • HR administration across the entire employee life cycle
  • Employee relations including disciplinary and grievance
  • Performance management
  • Training and development
  • HR data and reports for senior leadership teams including compliance
  • HR Projects

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a solid work history of operating as a hands-on HR generalist within a fast-paced environment. Site HR experience is highly desirable, this could be within a manufacturing, FMCG, supply chain, engineering or similar blue- & white-collar workforce.

You will be confident in dealing with all strategic and operational HR, giving advice and guidance, employee relations, recruitment, training, lead on HR projects as well as having the ability to produce HR reports, analyse data and provide feedback to management.

You will be a self-starter who shows initiative, can build effective relationships across the business as well as having the confidence to challenge and influence when required. You will be happy being the go-to person for all HR advice and guidance as well as supporting with ad hoc tasks as and when required.

This is an ideal position for a highly skilled HR generalist who enjoys operating across HR operations and strategic HR, as well as working in a stand-alone capacity. You will be excited to add value make a difference and drive positive behaviours across the site in terms of HR.

This organisation is easily accessible from the M5 with parking on site. Given the nature of the industry and employee base it's likely you will be needed to attend the site 4 or 5 days per week.
