This brand new school is looking for a team of casual exam invigilators to join for the upcoming examination period, this role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and smooth running of the process. With exams starting on 10th February running until March then restarting in May this could be the perfect opportunity for someone to gain experience within the education setting. Whilst experience is not necessary as we will provide training it is desired for this post.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Supervise students taking examinations, ensuring a calm environment that allows students to perform at their best.
  • Distribute and collect exam papers, ensuring that all materials are handled securely and confidentially.
  • Monitor the exam hall to prevent any form of malpractice and ensure compliance with the exam regulations.
  • Assist students with basic queries and ensure they have necessary stationery and materials.
  • Set up and clear down the exam hall before and after examinations.
  • Record attendance and report any incidents or irregularities during the exams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High attention to detail and vigilance to maintain the integrity of the examination process.
  • Excellent punctuality and reliability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
  • Ability to remain calm and authoritative in a formal exam setting.
  • No formal qualifications are required, but previous experience as an Exam Invigilator or in a similar role is advantageous.
