Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently working with a large Primary School in the Weston-Super-Mare area who are seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join their team from Term 5.
This inclusive school has recently gained a new Head Teacher who has high expectations of the staff and students of the school to bring a nurturing and caring environment to the community.
They work hard to set expectations for behaviour management and academic achievement to ensure each child gets the best potential learning experience they can.
The Role
This 3 form entry school is offering a full-time opportunity to start from Term 5. You will also get the chance to interview for a Permanent position too.
They are looking for a candidate who has experience in a KS2 class, preferably Year 5. The Head Teacher is looking for a born leader who can work collaboratively with other Year 5 Teachers to plan and arrange challenging lessons, someone who can provide their own opinions and ideas.
You will be expected to:

Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all children.

Work closely with other Year 5 teachers.

Work closely with the class Teaching Assistant to provide the best support for SEND children.
-
Help prepare Interventions to support with pupils’ misconceptions.

Build relationships with staff, pupils and parents.
