Role Specification:

The Planning Manager will be responsible for monitoring the planning department ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures as well as progressing administrative tasks. You will have a keen eye on budgetary constraints and will play a crucial part in planning new projects, reviewing and managing all planning issues and staff within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists upper management in setting goals that promote company growth.
  • Coordinates activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements.
  • Responsible for the planning, implementation, and delivery of daily operations.
  • Communicates with all relevant employees to ensure delivery times are met.
  • Provides administrative support throughout.
  • Communicates any changes in the order or delivery date to relevant parties.
  • Creates a detailed schedule based on strict deadlines and monitors service level.
  • Ensures customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
  • Attends weekly wash up meetings and Senior Management Meetings.
  • Attends site visits.
  • Periodically assists with Site Access Control shifts.

Person Specification:

  • Operational experience preferred

  • Understanding of operational systems
