Job Overview

As a Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving process improvements, enhancing production efficiency, and ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing lines. You will be responsible for optimizing processes, troubleshooting operational issues, and identifying areas for continuous improvement within the production environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that increase production performance while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and lean manufacturing initiatives across the production environment.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve operational issues on the production floor, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure seamless process integration and continuous improvements.
  • Equipment Support: Provide technical expertise during the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new equipment and machinery.
  • Training: Assist in developing training programs and mentoring team members to ensure the effective use of new processes and technologies.
  • Compliance: Ensure all processes adhere to company health, safety, and quality standards, as well as regulatory requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in an FMCG or manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on process improvement.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production line operations, and equipment within a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct data-driven analysis and implement effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to drive process improvements.
  • Education: Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Adaptability: A proactive and adaptable approach to working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
