PE Teacher (Female)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Female PE Teacher to inspire and nurture the athletic abilities of our students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and fitness, along with the ability to deliver high-quality physical education to young learners. This school is a mainstream secondary school where you will be expected to teach anything from Y7-11. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons to students across a range of ages and abilities.
  • Promote the importance of health, fitness, and well-being among students.
  • Organise and coordinate sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and encouragement to foster development.
  • Maintain a safe and organised environment for all physical activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate physical education with other school programs.
  • Act as a role model, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and a positive attitude towards physical activity.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in Physical Education or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching PE in a school setting.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in physical education.
