Qualified Social Worker | Children's Assessment Team | North Somerset

• We are looking for experienced children's social workers to join our Assessment Team, the role includes transition of children's casework from the MASH, children in need and children who may be at risk, taking part in strategy meetings, taking action to protect children where necessary.

• Multi-agency family assessments are carried out in this team which include visiting families, conducting direct work with children and young people, gathering and analysing information to allow us to consider next steps.

• Our methodology is strengths based, we treat families and each other with respect and kindness whilst at all times remaining focused on the experience and needs of children and young people.

• Hybrid working

• 38ph

• Supportive team and Manager

• You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration as well as relevant experience to be considered

To be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
